The eyewear brands we've chosen for you
We’re a family-owned practice in the heart of Hamilton, so every frame on our wall has been hand-picked by us: global designer houses through to independent makers you simply won’t find in a chain store. Whatever your prescription, your budget or what your day looks like, there’s a frame here that fits and we’ll help you find it.

Prada
OPTICAL & SUNGLASSES
Understated luxury from Milan. Prada carries the discipline of the fashion house into eyewear: clean lines, considered proportions, restrained detailing. The collection runs from softened rectangles to sculptural acetates, with the sport-influenced Linea Rossa alongside.
Best for: understated designer style, work to weekend.
Ray-Ban
OPTICAL & SUNGLASSES
The most recognised name in eyewear. Created by Bausch & Lomb, with the Aviator patented in 1937, Ray-Ban built its reputation on shapes that refuse to date. The Aviator and Wayfarer remain its signatures.
Best for: prescription sunglasses; classics that never date.
Oakley
OPTICAL & SUNGLASSES
Performance engineering, Californian in origin. Founded by Jim Jannard in 1975, Oakley builds sport eyewear around Prizm lens technology, which tunes contrast for particular conditions. The frames are made to sit securely and take punishment.
Best for: farm work, sport, driving and fishing.
ProDesign Denmark
OPTICAL
Danish design with an optical mind behind it. Founded in Aarhus in 1973 by opticians, ProDesign works to a principle it calls facial compliance: frames shaped to the contours of the face. Restrained lines, light titanium, expressive colour.
Best for: minimalist design and a considered fit.
Oroton
OPTICAL & SUNGLASSES
An Australian house, founded in Sydney in 1938 and known for the interwoven metallic mesh that made its name. The eyewear is a women’s collection in selected acetates and optical-grade monel, with the label’s characteristic restraint.
Best for: refined everyday frames for women.
Gucci
OPTICAL
Florentine, and unmistakable. Made in-house by Kering Eyewear since 2017, Gucci carries the house codes into its frames: the web stripe, the interlocking G, generous proportions and colour used without hesitation.
Best for: statement frames with unmistakable branding.
l.a.Eyeworks
OPTICAL & SUNGLASSES
Independent since 1979, when Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi, both trained opticians, opened on Melrose Avenue. l.a.Eyeworks produces limited runs, each frame beginning as a hand-drawn sketch, in sculptural shapes and inventive colour.
Best for: artistic frames that still fit properly.
Stepper
OPTICAL
German engineering with optical roots reaching back to a Stuttgart shop in 1936. Stepper builds each frame outward from a sculpted bridge so weight sits evenly, in hypoallergenic titanium and its own TX5 polyamide.
Best for: all-day comfort, sensitive skin, and children.
Superflex
OPTICAL
Built around a spring hinge that carries a lifetime warranty. Superflex frames are made in new-generation stainless steel with Japanese IP plating and nickel-free coatings, in traditional men’s and women’s styling.
Best for: durability and value; kids and teenagers.
Cocoa Mint
OPTICAL & SUNGLASSES
British design from Eyespace, founded in Worcestershire in 2013 by sisters Jayne and Julie Abel, one of them an optician. Cocoa Mint is a women’s collection of trend-led shapes and considered finishes.
Best for: everyday glamour at a friendly price.
